Blucheez launched in December 2021, founded by Dr. Md. Kamruzzaman and his daughter, co-founder Simeen Zaman. The brand started out specialising in denim, and its name is a nod to that origin: Nîmes, the French town credited with inventing denim, was also historically known for its blue cheese.
