Junaid Jamshed (also known as J.) was founded in 2002 by Junaid Jamshed, formerly the lead singer of Vital Signs, Pakistan’s first major pop band, who left music to build a clothing brand centred on reviving traditional Pakistani dress, particularly the salwar Kameez, with a more contemporary silhouette.
