Koshur India was founded in October 2021 by a mother-daughter trio, Anju, Mehak, and Tanya Bakshi, who took the leap without any background in business. What they had instead was a family rooted in Jammu and Kashmir, a lifetime of appreciation for the traditional Kashmiri clothing they grew up wearing, and a sense that no dedicated Kashmiri fashion brand existed to share it more widely.
