Frontier Raas

Frontier Raas began in 1954, when Bansilal Batra opened a clothing business in what was then India’s North-West Frontier Province. His son, Anil Kumar Batra, later moved the business to Delhi and expanded it into exports across the US, UK, and Canada, before opening the brand’s flagship store in South Extension, New Delhi, in 2009.

A third generation joined in 2016, when Gaurang Batra took over as Creative Director, expanding the brand into three verticals: Frontier Raas, Raas Saris, and Taraasa.
