Limelight was founded in 2010 by husband-and-wife team Wahaaj Tariq and Amna Wahaaj, trading as Maypole (Pvt.) Ltd. Wahaaj, a business graduate of LUMS with an MBA from the University of Warwick, handles the business side as CEO, while Amna, trained at the Pakistan Institute of Fashion Design, leads as creative director.

The brand has grown into one of Pakistan’s larger fashion retailers, with more than 80 stores across the country covering eastern and western wear, unstitched fabric, footwear, and accessories for women, men, and girls, alongside international online shipping.
