Pashtush

Pashtush launched in 2017 in Amritsar, founded by Pranav Malhotra, whose family has been in the shawl trade since his great-great-grandfather started out as a yarn trader in the same city generations earlier. The name blends “Pashmina” and “tush,” an old word for wool.

Every Pashtush shawl passes through 30 to 40 people, wool sourcers, spinners, dyers, weavers, embroiderers, and designers, spread across villages in Punjab, Kashmir, and Himachal Pradesh, and takes five to six months to complete.
