Jaypore started in December 2011, when Puneet Chawla and Shilpa Sharma set up shop in an old Delhi haveli with a clear goal: bring India’s handloom and artisan crafts to a global audience who wanted a real connection to Indian heritage, not machine-made imitations of it. In 2019, the brand joined the Aditya Birla Group, which gave it the scale to expand while keeping its original craft-first focus.
