Bareeze
Bareezé was founded in 1985 in Lahore by siblings Seema Aziz and Hamid Zaman. Neither had formal design training, and their only equipment was their father’s two Swiss embroidery machines. Their first shop sold high-quality embroidered unstitched fabric at prices well above what the market expected, and neighbouring shopkeepers assumed it would fail.
It didn’t. Bareezé became one of the first true designer-wear houses in Pakistan, and Seema Aziz went on to found the CARE Foundation, now the country’s largest educational non-profit, alongside running the brand. Bareezé has since grown to hundreds of stores across Pakistan, India, Malaysia, the UAE, and the UK. On SASTY, you can browse Bareezé’s collection and see exactly how it will look on you.
