Anita Dongre founded her label in 1995 from a small Mumbai apartment, building it into one of India’s most recognised luxury fashion houses.

Her design language traces back to a childhood spent in Jaipur, and it shows: Rajasthan’s craft traditions, Gota Patti, Bandhani, and Zardozi among them, run through her bridal and festive collections, reimagined for the modern wardrobe without losing their heritage.

Anita Dongre has also built her brand around sustainable, artisan-led production, work that’s taken her label to flagship stores in New York, Dubai, and Beverly Hills, making her the first Indian designer to open a store on each.
