W for Woman was born in 2001 as part of TCNS Clothing Co. Limited, a business brothers Onkar Singh Pasricha and Arvinder Singh Pasricha built on a family garment export company started by their father and grandfather back in 1972. The brand’s first store opened in Lajpat Nagar, Delhi, with a simple aim: bring modern, contemporary Indian ethnic wear to organised retail.

W has since grown to more than 400 stores worldwide, blending Indian and western sensibilities across kurtas, tops, and fusion wear, and became the first Indian ethnic wear retail brand to present a collection at Paris Fashion Week.
